Who's Billie?

I'm Billie!  The name is just a silly nickname I came up with a few years ago. It was between Josephine Jones and Billie Harlow.  I think I was going for something vintage/funky.  My birth name is Kyla, and I'm pretty simple, in a complex kinda' way. A big ole' ball of love, creativity, and hotmessness looking to inspire others while sharing my journey...growing pains and all.  Like most writers I know, I too struggle with feeling vulnerable after sharing my thoughts, emotions and dreams with others but I somehow feel it necessary to let others into my growth process this time around.  It took me an extremely long time to start blogging again due to fear of being judged and criticized.  That was before I realized that it is in fact, our flaws, our struggles, and our realness that often make us relatable.  I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this blog.  I hope that while reading these entries you are encouraged and inspired and at the very least, entertained.
